Order in Council 1037/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Deborah Lynn Richardson

be appointed Deputy Solicitor General, Correctional Services, Ministry of the Solicitor General, effective August 6, 2019, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not extending beyond December 1, 2021;

And as Deputy Solicitor General, Correctional Services, Ministry of the Solicitor General, Deborah Lynn Richardson also be appointed Deputy Minister of Correctional Services pursuant to section 3 of the Ministry of Correctional Services Act, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a term concurrent with her appointment as Deputy Solicitor General, Correctional Services, Ministry of the Solicitor General;

And Deborah Lynn Richardson shall exercise the powers and perform the duties of the Deputy Minister of Correctional Services in the name of the Deputy Solicitor General, Correctional Services, Ministry of the Solicitor General;

And that Order in Council O.C. 604/2019, dated April 11, 2019 be revoked effective August 6, 2019.
