Order in Council 1099/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to sections 2 and 3 of the Metropolitan Toronto Convention Centre Corporation Act (the “Act”), O.C. 196/2023 dated February 16, 2023 reappointed Lorenz Hassenstein of Toronto as member of the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Metropolitan Toronto Convention Centre Corporation (the “Corporation”);

And whereas subsection 3(2) of the Act was amended such that the Lieutenant Governor in Council is no longer required to appoint one of the members of the Board as president and chief executive officer of the Corporation, such that the president and chief executive officer is no longer a member of the Board;

Now therefore O.C. 196/2023 is revoked effective June 8, 2023.
