Order in Council 1143/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council established two Training and Skills Advisor positions by Order in Council made under section 4 of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Act;

Therefore, pursuant to section 4 of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Act and subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006:

1. Each Training and Skills Advisor appointed by the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities shall be remunerated at the rate of:
   1. $398 for each day that he or she is engaged as a Training and Skills Advisor, provided that he or she is engaged for more than 3 hours for that particular day, subject to (c);
   2. $199 for each day that he or she is engaged as a Training and Skills Advisor, provided that he or she is engaged for 3 hours or less for that particular day, subject to (c);
   3. The sum of the amounts paid under (a) and (b) shall not exceed $144,872 for the term of the appointment.
2. In addition to the remuneration set out above, each Training and Skills Advisor shall be reimbursed for work-related expenses incurred in carrying out their duties as a Training and Skills Advisor in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other TB/MBC directives.
