Order in Council 1145/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council, the Government of Ontario established the position of Coordinating Facilitator (who is also a Regional Facilitator);

And whereas that Order in Council provides that the Coordinating Facilitator (who is also a Regional Facilitator) shall be paid such remuneration and be reimbursed for such expenses as the Lieutenant Governor in Council may determine;

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of His Majesty the King in Right of Ontario to provide for the remuneration of advisors who serve His Majesty’s Government in Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Coordinating Facilitator Remuneration

1. The Coordinating Facilitator (who is also a Regional Facilitator) shall be remunerated at the following rate for service in their role as Coordinating Facilitator (who is also a Regional Facilitator), up to maximum of $150,400 for the term of the appointment:
   1. A rate of $800 per diem for service of three hours or more.
   2. A rate of $400 per diem for service of three hours or less.

Expenses

2. In addition to the remuneration set out above, the Coordinating Facilitator (who is also a Regional Facilitator) shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out their duties in accordance with the Management Board of Cabinet’s Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive, subject to written approval from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
