Order in Council 1159/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

A proclamation in respect of the Safeguarding Health Care Integrity Act, 2014 be issued in the form set out in the Schedule.

Safeguarding Health Care Integrity Act, 2014

We, by and with the advice of the Executive Council of Ontario, name,

1. August 1, 2016 as the day on which the following provisions of the Safeguarding Health Care Integrity Act, 2014, c. 14, which amend the Drug and Pharmacies Regulation Act, come into force:
   Schedule 2, s. 1-7
    
2. August 1, 2016 as the day on which the following provision of the Safeguarding Health Care Integrity Act, 2014, c. 14, which amends the Public Hospitals Act, comes into force:
   Schedule 2, s. 8.
    
3. August 1, 2016 as the day on which the following provisions of the Safeguarding Health Care Integrity Act, 2014, c. 14, which amend the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991, come into force:
   Schedule 2, s. 9-12.
