Order in Council 1204/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1447/2020, dated October 26, 2020, Catherine Rhinelander, Assistant Crown Attorney, Guns and Gangs Unit, was reappointed as a part- time member of the Death Investigation Oversight Council (the “Council”), to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years from the effective date of the appointment;

And whereas Catherine Rhinelander has, in writing, effective June 11, 2023, resigned her appointment as a part-time member of the Council;

Therefore pursuant to subsection 8(2) of the Coroners Act, as amended, Order in Council numbered O.C. 1447/2020, dated October 26, 2020, reappointing Catherine Rhinelander as a part- time member of the Council, is hereby revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
