Order in Council 1228/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 37(2) of the Provincial Animal Welfare Services Act, 2019, section 3 of the Assessment Review Board Act, subsection 3(1) of the Compensation for Victims of Crime Act, subsection 58(2) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997, subsection 32(2) of the Human Rights Code, subsection 169(1) of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006, subsection 2(3) of the Licence Appeal Tribunal Act, 1999, subsection 21(2) of the Police Services Act, subsection 61(1) of the Ontario Works Act, 1997 and subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, Karen R. Restoule of Dokis First Nation be reappointed as part-time member and Vice Chair of the Animal Care Review Board, the Assessment Review Board, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, the Fire Safety Commission, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Ontario Civilian Police Commission and the Social Benefits Tribunal for a fixed term effective the date this Order in Council is made and ending April 4, 2022.

Further, pursuant to subsections 333(2) and 151(2) of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017, subsection 57(1.1) of the Education Act, subsection 27(1) of the Expropriations Act, subsection 24(1) of the Ontario Heritage Act, subsection 1(2) of the Environmental Review Tribunal Act, 2000, subsection 3(1) of the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal Act, 2017 and subsection 6(2) of the Ministry of Natural Resources Act, Orders in Council O.C. 1823/2019 and 1959/2019 be revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
