Order in Council 1236/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1928/2013, dated December 11, 2013, Dr. Fiona Smaill, was reappointed as a part-time member of the Death Investigation Oversight Council, effective from the 16th day of December 2013, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years from the effective date of her appointment;

and whereas pursuant to subsection 8(3) of the Coroners Act, as amended, the Lieutenant Governor in Council may designate one or more members of the Death Investigation Oversight Council to be Vice-Chairs;

therefore pursuant to subsection 8(3) of the Coroners Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. C.37, as amended, Dr. Fiona Smaill is hereby designated as a part-time Vice-Chair of the Death Investigation Oversight Council for the duration of her appointment, as a part-time member of the Death Investigation Oversight Council, under Order in Council numbered O.C. 1928/2013 dated December 11, 2013.
