Order in Council 1242/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1261/2014, dated October 22, 2014, Dr. Jocelin Ann McLeod was appointed as a Coroner for Ontario, subject to the condition that she remain ordinarily resident in Area Number 9;

And Whereas Dr. Jocelin Ann McLeod currently ordinarily resides in Area Number 8, nullifying her appointment as a Coroner for Ontario;

And Whereas it is desirable that Dr. Jocelin Ann McLeod continue to act as a Coroner for Ontario;

Therefore pursuant to section 3 of the Coroners Act, as amended, Dr. Jocelin Ann McLeod be appointed as a Coroner for Ontario effective from the date of this Order in Council, subject to the condition that she remain ordinarily resident in Area Number 8, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council;

And that Order in Council numbered O.C. 1261/2014, dated October 22, 2014, be revoked effective the date of this Order in Council.
