Order in Council 1263/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Education Quality and Accountability Office Act, 1996 establishes the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO);

And Whereas said Act provides that the Lieutenant Governor in Council shall appoint a chief executive officer, after consulting with the directors of the board of EQAO;

Now Therefore, pursuant to subsection 16(1) of the Education Quality and Accountability Office Act, 1996,

Norah Marsh of Ottawa

be appointed chief executive officer of the Education Quality and Accountability Office for a term of three (3) years, effective the date of this Order in Council, subject to the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
