Order in Council 1312/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsections 4.1 (2), and 4.1(8) of the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998,

1. 1. The Chair of the board of directors of the Ontario Energy Board (“OEB”), who is appointed on a part-time basis, shall be compensated at the rate of:
      1. $1,250 per diem to a maximum of $200,780 per year up to and including September 30, 2025, effective October 1, 2022;
      2. $800 per diem to a maximum of $128,499 per year as of October 1, 2025;
   2. The Vice-Chair of the board of directors of the OEB, who is appointed on a part-time basis, shall be compensated at the rate of $560 per diem, effective October 1, 2022; and
   3. The other members of the board of directors of the OEB, who are appointed on a part-time basis, shall be compensated at the rate of $510 per diem, effective October 1, 2022.
2. Appointees shall be reimbursed for work-related expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the OEB in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other TB/MBC directives.

And further that Order in Council 1246/2021 be revoked, effective October 1, 2022.
