On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council has by regulation under the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, designated the Animal Care Review Board, the Assessment Review Board, the Board of Negotiation, the Child and Family Services Review Board, the Conservation Review Board, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, the Custody Review Board, the Environmental Review Tribunal, the Fire Safety Commission, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal, the Mining and Lands Tribunal, the Ontario Civilian Police Commission, the Ontario Parole Board, the Ontario Special Education Tribunal (English), the Ontario Special Education Tribunal (French) and the Social Benefits Tribunal as a cluster;

And whereas the cluster is to be known as Tribunals Ontario;

And whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council finds it necessary and convenient to appoint an Executive Chair of Tribunals Ontario;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 16(1) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, Linda Lamoureux of Markham be appointed the full-time Executive Chair of Tribunals Ontario for a fixed term of one year, effective January 1, 2019.

Further, in accordance with subsection 17(1) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, the Executive Chair shall have the powers, duties and functions assigned to the Chair of each adjudicative tribunal in Tribunals Ontario by this or any other Act or by any regulation, order in council, ministerial or Management Board of Cabinet directive.

And further, pursuant to subsection 16(2) of the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, section 3 of the Assessment Review Board Act, subsection 27(1) of the Expropriations Act, subsection 333(2) of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017, subsection 24(1) of the Ontario Heritage Act, subsection 3(1) of the Compensation for Victims of Crime Act, subsection 151(2) of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017, subsection 1(2) of the Environmental Review Tribunal Act, 2000, subsection 58(2) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997, subsection 32(2) of the Human Rights Code, subsection 169(1) of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006, subsection 2(3) of the Licence Appeal Tribunal Act, 1999, subsection 3(1) of the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal Act, 2017, subsection 6(2) of the Ministry of Natural Resources Act, subsection 21(2) of the Police Services Act, subsection 32(2) of the Ministry of Correctional Services Act, subsection 57(1.1) of the Education Act and subsection 61(1) of the Ontario Works Act, 1997, Linda Lamoureux of Markham be further appointed as a member of the Animal Care Review Board, the Assessment Review Board, the Board of Negotiation, the Child and Family Services Review Board, the Conservation Review Board, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, the Custody Review Board, the Environmental Review Tribunal, the Fire Safety Commission, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal, the Mining and Lands Tribunal, the Ontario Civilian Police Commission, the Ontario Parole Board, the Ontario Special Education Tribunal (English), the Ontario Special Education Tribunal (French) and the Social Benefits Tribunal, respectively, for concurrent fixed terms of one year, effective January 1, 2019.
