Order in Council 1343/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 2 (4) of the Provincial Schools Authority Act,

1. The appointees to the positions of members of the Provincial Schools Authority shall receive remuneration for each day that they are engaged in duties as members of the Provincial School Authority. The Chair of the Provincial Schools Authority shall be remunerated a per diem rate of $350.00, the Vice-Chair a per diem rate of $250.00, and all other members a per diem rate of $200.00.
2. The remuneration in paragraph 1 shall not apply to a member who is otherwise employed under Part III of the Public Service of Ontario Act, 2006 or an employee of a public body within the meaning of that Act.
3. The members of the Provincial Schools Authority shall be reimbursed for work-related expenses incurred while engaged in the duties of the Provincial Schools Authority in accordance with the Travel, Meal, and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other TB/MBC directives.
