Order in Council 1364/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Order in Council numbered O.C. 643/2019 made May 2, 2019 (the “Establishment OIC"), established the Ontario Provincial Police Independent Review Panel (“Independent Review Panel”) to assist the Solicitor General in the discharge of her duties and obligations by undertaking a review of the overall workplace culture in the Ontario Provincial Police;

And whereas the Establishment OIC provided for the appointment of members of the Independent Review Panel;

And whereas pursuant to Order in Council numbered O.C. 645/2019 Douglas Cunningham, Murray Segal and David Cooke were appointed as members of the Independent Review Panel for a period not to extend beyond October 31, 2019;

And whereas the Establishment OIC has been amended to provide that Independent Review Panel members may be appointed for terms not extending beyond December 31, 2019;

Therefore, pursuant to the Establishment OIC as amended, the appointment of the following individuals

Douglas Cunningham

Murray Segal

David Cooke

as members of the Independent Review Panel is hereby extended until December 31, 2019 and Order in Council numbered O.C. 645/2019 dated May 2, 2019 is amended accordingly.
