On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

whereas the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care intends to appoint up to eighteen individuals to act as members of the Patients First: Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) Renewal Implementation Advisory Group (the “Advisory Group”) established pursuant to section 9 of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care Act;

therefore, pursuant to subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006, the members shall receive the following remuneration:

  1. One member designated by the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care as the Chair of the Advisory Group and up to five members shall each be remunerated at the rate of $1,500 per day, based on a 7.25 hour day.
  2. The number of days for which the Chair and up to five members not employed within the Broader Public Sector may be remunerated under this Order shall not exceed a total of 30 days, for a maximum total value of $45,000 each. 
  3. The Chair and all members shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses that are incurred while engaged in the business of the Advisory Group in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive of Management Board of Cabinet.
