On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas:

  1. The Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network (the “LHIN”) was continued as a corporation without share capital under subsection 3(1) of the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006 (the “Act”).
  2. The LHIN is required under subsection 6(3) of the Act to obtain the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council before acquiring, disposing of, leasing, or otherwise transferring or encumbering any interest in real property, except for leasing office space that is reasonably necessary for the purposes of the LHIN.
  3. The LHIN seeks to fund a community health hub project with the goal of improving access to health care services exclusively for the residents of Thorncliffe Park.
  4. The LHIN would facilitate the launch of the project by entering into a lease for premises from which a range of government-funded health organizations and social service and other health- related service organizations would provide services to the Thorncliffe Park community.
  5. The LHIN is seeking approval to enter into a lease in respect of the premises described below and, at a future date, to assign the lease to a suitable party.

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 6(3) of the Act, approval is hereby given to the LHIN:
