Order in Council 1457/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas section 5 of the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority Act, 2021 (the "Act") authorizes the appointment of an interim board of directors;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 5(2) the remuneration of the interim board is as follows: Chair's remuneration

1. The chair of the Authority's interim board of directors shall be paid remuneration of $744 per diem.

Other members' remuneration

2. The Authority's two interim board of directors, other than the chair, shall each be paid $472 per diem

Expenses

3. In addition to the remuneration set out above, the members of the Authority's interim board of directors, including the chair, shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out their duties on the board of directors in accordance with the Management Board of Cabinet's Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other Treasury Board or Management Board of Cabinet directives.

Now therefore, this Order shall be in effect on the day sections 2-5 of the Act come into force.
