Order in Council 1461/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

whereas the Provincial Judges Remuneration Commission (“Commission”) is established under Section 51.13 of the Courts of Justice Act and its composition and functions are set out in Appendix A of the Framework Agreement as a Schedule to the Act;

and whereasthe Lieutenant Governor in Council has selected Roy Filion to be a member of the Commission;

now therefore, pursuant to Section 6, paragraph 2 of the Schedule to the Courts of Justice Act,

Roy Filion of the City of Toronto

is re-appointed as a member of the Commission for a term of four years commencing on July 1, 2014 and ending on June 30, 2018.
