Order in Council 1463/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

whereas by Order in Council O.C.1462/2018, dated December 12, 2018, the office of Legislative Reviewer of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, established by O.C. 2428/2017 dated December 14, 2017, is continued in accordance with the Terms of Reference provided by the Minister for Seniors and Accessibility; and

whereas he was appointed by Order in Council O.C. 2452/2017 dated December 14, 2017 for a period ending not later than December 31, 2018;

pursuant to subsection 41 (5) of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005,

be re-appointed Legislative Reviewer of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act for one month to fulfil the duties of the Legislative Reviewer under section 41 of the Act and in accordance with the Terms of Reference.

This re-appointment is effective as of January 1, 2019 and shall continue for a period ending not later than January 31, 2019.

Order in Council O.C. 2452/2017 is revoked as of January 1, 2019.
