Order in Council 1471/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Thomas Hodgins was appointed a full-time member of Ontario Municipal Board by Order in Council O.C. 1470/2016 dated October 11, 2016;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 5(3) of the Ontario Municipal Board Act and subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006,

Thomas Hodgins be paid an annual remuneration of $93,050.

Further, Thomas Hodgins shall be eligible for benefits, excluding pension, in accordance with the benefit entitlements of the Senior Management Group of the Ontario Public Service;

Further, Thomas Hodgins may elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan. If he declines to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan, he shall not be entitled to compensation in lieu of participation in the Plan;

And further, Thomas Hodgins shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the Ontario Municipal Board in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
