Order in Council 1477/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

pursuant to subsection 17(1) of the Police Services Act, as amended,

Gary James Couture

be appointed as Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police, effective from the 17th day of December 2018, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not extending past March 14, 2019;

and that Order in Council numbered O.C. 1213/2018 dated October 31, 2018 be revoked on the effective date of this appointment;

and that Order in Council numbered O.C. 1308/2018 dated November 29, 2018 be revoked on the effective date of this appointment.
