On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

writs be issued for by-elections to be held in the Electoral Districts of Ottawa - Vanier and Niagara West - Glanbrook rendered necessary because of the resignations of Madeleine Meilleur and Tim Hudak, members for the said electoral districts,

  1. the day for the close of nominations and the grant of a poll where required shall be Thursday, November 3, 2016;
  2. the day for the taking of a poll shall be Thursday, November 17, 2016.

    3. This order is made under section 9.1 of the Election Act.
