Order in Council 1518/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Michael McFadden was reappointed as full-time vice chair of the Ontario Labour Relations Board by Order in Council numbered O.C.1517/2016 dated October 19, 2016;

therefore, pursuant to subsection 110(2) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995,

Michael McFadden shall be paid annual remuneration of $123,225 dollars;

Further, Michael McFadden shall be eligible for benefits, excluding pension, in accordance with the benefit entitlements of the Senior Management Group of the Ontario Public Service;

Further, Michael McFadden may elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan. If he declines to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan, he shall not be entitled to compensation in lieu of participation in the Plan;

Further, Michael McFadden shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the Ontario Labour Relations Board in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.

And further, this Order in Council comes into effect on November 5, 2016.
