Order in Council 1581/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsections 333(2) and 151(2) of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017 and subsection 16(2) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, Sara Mintz of Toronto be appointed as part-time member and associate chair of the Child and Family Services Review Board and the Custody Review Board for a fixed term effective the date this Order in Council is made and ending August 25, 2024.

Pursuant to subsection 16(3) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, Sara Mintz be reappointed as alternate executive chair of Tribunals Ontario for a fixed term effective the date this Order in Council is made and ending August 25, 2024.

Further, pursuant to subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, subsection 37(2) of the Provincial Animal Welfare Services Act, 2019, section 3 of the Assessment Review Board Act, subsection 58(2) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997, subsection 32(2) of the Human Rights Code, subsection 169(1) of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006, subsection 21(2) of the Police Services Act, subsection 32(2) of the Ministry of Correctional Services Act, subsection 57(1.1) of the Education Act and subsection 61(1) of the Ontario Works Act, 1997, Sara Mintz be further reappointed as part-time member and vice-chair of the Animal Care Review Board, the Assessment Review Board, the Fire Safety Commission, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Ontario Civilian Police Commission, the Ontario Parole Board, the Ontario Special Education Tribunal (English), the Ontario Special Education Tribunal (French) and the Social Benefits Tribunal, respectively, for concurrent fixed terms effective the date this Order in Council is made and ending August 25, 2024.

And further, Order in Council O.C. 1267/2022 be revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
