Order in Council 808/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Sara Mintz was appointed as full-time member and associate chair of the Licence Appeal Tribunal for a fixed term of three years, effective August 26, 2021, by Order in Council O.C. 1115/2021;

And whereas Sara Mintz was appointed as part-time member and associate chair of the Child and Family Services Review Board and the Custody Review Board, and reappointed as part-time member and vice-chair of the Animal Care Review Board, the Assessment Review Board, the Fire Safety Commission, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Ontario Civilian Police Commission, the Ontario Parole Board, the Ontario Special Education (English) Tribunal, the Ontario Special Education (French) Tribunal and the Social Benefits Tribunal, for concurrent fixed terms effective December 1, 2022 and ending August 25, 2024, by Order in Council O.C. 1581/2022;

And whereas Sara Mintz tendered her resignation effective May 9, 2024;

Therefore, pursuant to subsections 16(2), 16(3) and 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, subsection 37(2) of the Provincial Animal Welfare Services Act, 2019, section 3 of the Assessment Review Board Act, subsections 333(2) and 151(2) of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017, subsection 58(2) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997, subsection 32(2) of the Human Rights Code, subsection 169(1) of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006, subsection 2(3) of the Licence Appeal Tribunal Act, 1999, subsection 21(2) of the Police Services Act, subsection 32(2) of the Ministry of Correctional Services Act, subsection 57(1.1) of the Education Act and subsection 61(1) of the Ontario Works Act, 1997, Orders in Council O.C. 1115/2021 and 1581/2022 be revoked effective May 9, 2024.
