Order in Council 1585/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. the portions of highway in the township of Cairo, in the District of Timiskaming, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation and shown as Part 1 on Ministry Plan P-7046-18, filed with the Record Services Unit, Northeastern Region of the Ministry of Transportation at North Bay on the 8th day of March 2013, be designated as the King’s Highway pursuant to section 7 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50 as amended; and
2. order in council OC-417/71, effective February 4, 1971, and registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Divisions of Timiskaming as 165909(LT), TIM. H-61, designating the abovementioned highway as King’s Highway, be amended so as to cease to apply to the portion of highway shown as Part 1 shown on Ministry Plan P-7046-18; and
3. Parts 2 and 3 shown on Ministry Plan P-7046-18 be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50 as amended.
