Order in Council 1595/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas there is vested in Her Majesty the Queen, in right of the Province of Ontario and under the jurisdiction and control of the Minister of Transportation, certain lands situated, lying and being:

Part of the West half of Lot 13, Concession 3 and Part of the West half of Lot 14, Concession 3, East of Hurontario Street, in the Township of Toronto, City of Brampton, in the Regional Municipality of Peel, shown as Parts 1 and 3 on Reference Plan 43R-14030 deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Peel (Ministry of Transportation Plan P-5098-55);

And whereas the said lands are no longer required for the purpose of the Minister of Transportation and it is deemed expedient that the jurisdiction and control be placed under the Minister of Government and Consumers Services, who has agreed to accept the jurisdiction and control thereof;

Therefore pursuant to Subsection 2(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50, as amended; and Section 9 of the Ministry of Infrastructure Act, 2011, S.O. 2011, Chapter 9, Sch. 27, administered by the Minister of Government and Consumer Services pursuant to Order in Council OC- 1152/2018, the jurisdiction and control of the above lands is hereby placed under the control of the Minister of Government and Consumers Services.
