Order in Council 1692/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Jonathan Batty was appointed as full-time member and Associate Chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario for a fixed term ending October 3, 2021 by Order in Council O.C. 1238/2019;

And whereas Jonathan Batty was reappointed as full-time member and Associate Chair of the Licence Appeal Tribunal for a fixed term of two years, effective October 4, 2019, by Order in Council O.C. 1150/2019;

And whereas Jonathan Batty tendered his resignation effective November 23, 2019;

Therefore, pursuant to clause 77(a) of the Legislation Act, 2006, subsection 16(2) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, subsection 32(2) of the Human Rights Code and subsection 2(3) of the Licence Appeal Tribunal Act, 1999, Orders in Council O.C. 1238/2019 and 1150/2019 be revoked effective November 23, 2019.
