Order in Council 1706/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 117/2019, dated the 31st day of January 2019, Jonathan Fredrick Pegg was appointed as the Fire Marshal of Ontario effective from February 19, 2019, for a period not exceeding nine months from the effective date of his appointment;

And whereas Jonathan Fredrick Pegg has agreed to be reappointed as the Fire Marshal of Ontario;

Therefore pursuant to section 8(1) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997, as amended, Jonathan Fredrick Pegg is hereby reappointed as the Fire Marshal of Ontario, effective from the later of the 12th day of November, 2019 or the date this order in council is made, for a period not exceeding three years from the effective date of this reappointment.

And that Order in Council numbered O.C. 117/2019 is hereby revoked effective the later of the 12th day of November, 2019 or the date this order in council is made.
