Order in Council 171/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Stephanie Kepman was appointed as part-time member and vice-chair of the Animal Care Review Board for a fixed term of two years, effective March 24, 2022, by Order in Council O.C. 599/2022;

And whereas Stephanie Kepman was appointed as part-time member and vice-chair of the Fire Safety Commission for a fixed term of two years, effective March 24, 2022, by Order in Council O.C. 603/2022;

And whereas Stephanie Kepman was appointed as part-time member of the Child and Family Services Review Board and the Custody Review Board for a fixed term of two years, effective April 14, 2022, by Order in Council O.C. 947/2022;

And whereas Stephanie Kepman was reappointed as full-time member of the Licence Appeal Tribunal for a fixed term of two years, effective January 24, 2023, by Order in Council O.C. 1787/2022;

And whereas Stephanie Kepman was reappointed as part-time member of the Ontario Civilian Police Commission for a fixed term of two years, effective January 24, 2023, by Order in Council O.C. 1790/2022;

And whereas Stephanie Kepman was reappointed as part-time member of the Ontario Parole Board for a fixed term of two years, effective January 24, 2023, by Order in Council O.C. 1791/2022;

And whereas Stephanie Kepman was reappointed as part-time member of the Landlord and Tenant Board for a fixed term effective February 9, 2023 and ending January 23, 2025, by Order in Council O.C. 129/2023;

And whereas Stephanie Kepman was reappointed as part-time member and vice-chair of the Animal Care Review Board for a fixed term effective March 24, 2024 and ending January 23, 2025, by Order in Council O.C. 1696/2023;

And whereas Stephanie Kepman was reappointed as part-time member and vice-chair of the Fire Safety Commission for a fixed term effective March 24, 2024 and ending January 23, 2025, by Order in Council O.C. 1699/2023;

And whereas Stephanie Kepman tendered her resignation effective December 30, 2023;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 37(2) of the Provincial Animal Welfare Services Act, 2019, subsection 58(2) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997, subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, subsections 333(2) and 151(2) of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017, subsection 2(3) of the Licence Appeal Tribunal Act, 1999, subsection 21(2) of the Police Services Act, subsection 32(2) of the Ministry of Correctional Services Act and subsection 169(1) of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006, Orders in Council O.C. 599/2022, 603/2022, 947/2022, 1787/2022, 1790/2022, 1791/2022, 129/2023, 1696/2023 and 1699/2023 be revoked effective December 30, 2023.
