Order in Council 1719/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council the position of Community Opportunities Advocate has been established;

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario to provide for the remuneration of the advisors who serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities, the following remuneration rates have been determined:

1. The Community Opportunities Advocate shall be compensated at the rate of $500.00 per diem up to a maximum of $72 000.00 per year;
2. The Community Opportunities Advocate shall be eligible for reimbursement of reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out the duties of the Community Opportunities Advocate in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
