Order in Council 17/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Chris Day of Ottawa was appointed as a member of the Ontario Educational Communications Authority by Order in Council O.C. 1241/2019, effective August 29, 2019 for a period not exceeding three years,

And whereas subsection 2(2) of the Ontario Educational Communications Authority Act, as amended, provides that the Lieutenant Governor in Council shall appoint a Chair from the nine members of the Authority,

Now therefore, pursuant to subsection 2(2) of said Act, as amended,

Chris Day of Ottawa

be appointed, as Chair of the Ontario Educational Communications Authority, effective the date this Order in Council is made, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not to extend beyond August 28, 2022.
