Order in Council 1743/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority is a corporation without share capital continued under the name Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority in English and Office des télécommunications éducatives de langue française de l’Ontario in French (“the Authority”) under subsection 2(1) of the Ontario French- language Educational Communications Authority Act, 2008;

And whereas pursuant to clause 6(5)(a) of the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority Act, 2008, the Authority may, subject to the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, purchase, lease or otherwise acquire land or any interest in land;

Now therefore pursuant to clause 6(5)(a) of the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority Act, 2008, the Authority be authorised:

1. to enter into the Agreement with the Landlord for 405 square feet of office space at the premises for a period of two (2) years commencing on November 1, 2022, and terminating October 31, 2024, at the following monthly rental rates:
   1. five hundred and forty-seven dollars and ninety-six cents ($547.96), plus applicable taxes, on the first day of each month commencing with November of 2022 and ending in October of 2023; and,
   2. five hundred and seventy-five dollars and thirty-six cents ($575.36), plus applicable taxes, on the first day of each month commencing with November 2023 and ending in October 2024.
2. to execute such documents as may be necessary for the purpose of entering into the Agreement.
