Order in Council 1772/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas under subsection 47(1) of the Crown Employees Collective Bargaining Act, 1993 (“CECBA”), the Grievance Settlement Board is composed of a chair and two alternate chairs.

And whereas under subsection 47(4) of the CECBA, the chair and alternate chairs are to be paid such remuneration and allowance for expenses as are determined by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 47(4) of the CECBA,

1. An alternate chair shall be paid remuneration of $716 per diem for the performance of an alternate chair’s duties.
2. An alternate chair shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out his or her duties in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
