Order in Council 1795/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Maxim Jean-Louis of Sudbury was appointed as a member of the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority by Order in Council O.C. 243/2020, effective February 14, 2020, for a period not exceeding three years,

And whereas subsection 2(3) of the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority Act, 2008, as amended, provides that the Lieutenant Governor in Council shall appoint a Chair from the nine members of the Authority,

Now therefore, pursuant to subsection 2(3) of the Act, as amended,

Maxim Jean-Louis of Sudbury

be appointed, on an interim basis, as the Chair of the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period of three months or ending when a new Chair is appointed, whichever occurs first, effective January 5, 2021.
