Order in Council 1843/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Laurie Letheren was reappointed a full-time member and Vice Chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario by Order in Council 1842/2016 dated December 7, 2016;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006, subsection 32(4) of the Human Rights Code and subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009,

Laurie Letheren be paid an annual remuneration of $123,225.

Further, Laurie Letheren shall be eligible for benefits, excluding pension, in accordance with the benefit entitlements of the Senior Management Group of the Ontario Public Service;

Further, Laurie Letheren may elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan. If she declines to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan, she shall not be entitled to compensation in lieu of participation in the Plan;

And further, Laurie Letheren shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
