Order in Council 198/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council established the Blue Ribbon Panel on Financial Sustainability in the Post-Secondary Education Sector (“Blue Ribbon Panel”) by Order in Council made under section 4 of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Act;

Therefore, pursuant to section 4 of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Act and subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006,

1. The Chair of the Blue Ribbon Panel shall be remunerated at the rate of $450.00 per diem for each day that the individual is engaged in duties as the Chair of the Blue Ribbon Panel.
2. The other members of the Blue Ribbon Panel shall be remunerated at the rate of $350.00 per diem for each day that the individual is engaged in duties as a member of the Blue Ribbon Panel.
3. Members of the Blue Ribbon Panel, including the Chair, shall be reimbursed for work-related expenses incurred while engaged in the duties of the Blue Ribbon Panel in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other TB/MBC directives.
