Order in Council 1998/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Brenna Homeniuk was appointed a full-time member of the Social Benefits Tribunal by Order in Council 1997/2016 dated December 20, 2016;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006 and subsection 61(2) of the Ontario Works Act, 1997,

Brenna Homeniuk be paid an annual remuneration of $106,350.

Further, Brenna Homeniuk shall be eligible for benefits, excluding pension, in accordance with the benefit entitlements of the Senior Management Group of the Ontario Public Service;

Further, Brenna Homeniuk may elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan. If she declines to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan, she shall not be entitled to compensation in lieu of participation in the Plan;

And further, Brenna Homeniuk shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the Social Benefits Tribunal in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
