Order in Council 2017/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Sanjeev Erry

be appointed Deputy Minister of Correctional Services, Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, effective October 9, 2017 to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not extending beyond December 31, 2018;

And as Deputy Minister of Correctional Services, Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, Sanjeev Erry is also appointed Deputy Minister of Correctional Services pursuant to section 3 of the Ministry of Correctional Services Act, effective October 9, 2017, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a term concurrent with his appointment as Deputy Minister of Correctional Services, Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services;

And Sanjeev Erry shall exercise the powers and perform the duties of Deputy Minister of Correctional Services under the Ministry of Correctional Services Act in the name of the Deputy Minister of Correctional Services, Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
