Order in Council 220/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the committee formerly known as the Ontario Moose Bear Allocation Advisory Committee was continued by Order in Council as the Big Game Management Advisory Committee (the “Committee”) pursuant to section 13 of the Ministry of Natural Resources Act;

And Whereas the Order in Council provides that the members of the Committee, including the Chair, shall be paid such remuneration and expenses as the Lieutenant Governor in Council may determine;

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario to provide for the remuneration of persons who serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities and to reimburse them for appropriate expenses, the following is determined:

1. The members of the Committee other than the Chair shall be compensated at a rate of $150.00 per diem for a maximum of up to 35 days for work carried out each year in respect of the Committee.
2. The Chair of the Committee shall be compensated at a rate of $175.00 per diem for a maximum of up to 35 days for work carried out each year in respect of the Committee.
3. The Chair and other members of the Committee shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while discharging their duties and in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.

And Further this Order shall take effect the date it is approved and ordered.
