Order in Council 2243/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council, the Government of Ontario has established the position of Special Advisor, Chief Scientist;

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Ontario to appoint advisors to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Molly Shoichet

is hereby appointed as Special Advisor, Chief Scientist, effective January 4, 2018 to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years from the effective date of this appointment.
