Order in Council 234/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Alan Smith was appointed as a part-time member of the Ontario Internal Audit Committee (OIAC) to serve as member of the Information & Information Technology Sector Audit Committee subcommittee at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years, pursuant to Order in Council 1818/2019 effective December 6, 2019;

And whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council wishes to re-appoint Alan Smith to serve as a Chair of the Resources Sector Audit Committee subcommittee of the OIAC at pleasure for a period of up to three years from the date of this Order;

Now therefore pursuant to subsection 6.1(1) of the Ministry of Government Services Act;

1. Order in Council 1818/2019 is hereby revoked;
2. Alan Smith of Pickering be appointed as part-time Chair of the Resources Sector Audit Committee of the OIAC to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding 3 years, effective the date this Order in Council is made;
