On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 6(2) of the Ministry of Natural Resources Act, subsection 16(2) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009 and subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006, the rate of remuneration for a person appointed as Associate Chair of the Mining and Lands Tribunal on a full-time basis shall be determined as in accordance with the following table:

Further, a person appointed as Associate Chair shall be reimbursed for reasonable work-related expenses while engaged in the business of the Mining and Lands Tribunal in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.

And further, a person appointed as Associate Chair shall be eligible for benefits, including vacation, comparable to the benefit entitlements of OPS executives in the Senior Management Group and are entitled to elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan, all of which is effective the day section 3 of Schedule 17 to the Stronger, Healthier Ontario Act (Budget Measures), 2017 comes into force.
