Order in Council 304/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas D. Stephen Jovanovic was appointed full-time member and Associate Chair of the Ontario Civilian Police Commission for a term of five years by Order in Council 3/2017, effective January 11, 2017;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 16(2) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009,

D. Stephen Jovanovic be paid an annual remuneration of $146,700 effective January 11, 2017, and an annual remuneration of $157,175 effective January 11, 2019.

Further, D. Stephen Jovanovic be eligible for benefits, including vacation, comparable to the benefit entitlements of OPS executives in the Senior Management Group.

Further, D. Stephen Jovanovic may elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan.

Further, D. Stephen Jovanovic be reimbursed for reasonable work-related expenses while engaged in the business of the Ontario Civilian Police Commission in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other TB/MBC directives.

And further, Order in Council 4/2017 be revoked effective this Order in Council.
