Order in Council 335/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1082/2021 made August 12, 2021 Simerjit Kaur Chahal was appointed as a part-time member of the Council of Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario;

And whereas the government wishes to appoint Simirjit Kaur Chahal to a panel of lay persons eligible to serve as members of the Complaints Committee and the Discipline Committee (collectively, “the Panel”) pursuant to subsection 12(2) of the Registered Insurance Brokers Act;

Order in Council O.C. 1082/2021 is revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made;

and further that:

Simirjit Kaur Chahal of Richmond Hill

be appointed as a part-time member of the Panel, for a term not exceeding four years effective the date this Order in Council is made.
