Order in Council 381/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas section 12 of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing Act establishes the office of the Provincial Land and Development Facilitator;

And whereas the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing intends to appoint one or more persons as a Deputy Provincial Land and Development Facilitator;

And whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council may determine the remuneration and expenses of a person appointed as a Deputy Provincial Land and Development Facilitator;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 12 (4) of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing Act,

1. Any person appointed as a Deputy Provincial Land and Development Facilitator shall be remunerated at the rate of $1000 for each day that he or she is engaged in the duties of Deputy Provincial Land and Development Facilitator, to a maximum of $234,000 annually.
2. Any person appointed as a Deputy Provincial Land and Development Facilitator shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while discharging his or her duties in accordance with the Management Board of Cabinet Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive.
