On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsections 63(8), 63.1(6) and 63.2(7) of the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009,

  1. Effective December 8, 2016 to March 31, 2017, the per diem rates of remuneration for persons appointed on a part-time basis to the College of Trades Appointments Council and Classification Roster are as follows:
    1. The chair of the College of Trades Appointments Council and Classification Roster shall be compensated at the rate of $706 per diem;
    2. The associate chair of the Appointments Council and the associate chair of the Classification Roster shall be compensated at the rate of $667 per diem;
    3. The other members of the Appointments Council and other members of the Classification Roster shall be compensated at the rate of $423 per diem;
    4. A member of the Classification Roster that is appointed as chair of a classification panel shall be compensated at the rate of $706 per diem when serving as chair of the classification panel; the member shall not be paid more than one per diem for any given day.
  2. Effective April 1, 2017, the per diem rates of remuneration for persons appointed on a part-time basis to the College of Trades Appointments Council and Classification Roster are as follows:
    1. The chair of the College of Trades Appointments Council and Classification Roster shall be compensated at the rate of $716 per diem;
    2. The associate chair of the Appointments Council and the associate chair of the Classification Roster shall be compensated at the rate of $676 per diem;
    3. The other members of the Appointments Council and the other members of the Classification Roster shall be compensated at the rate of $429 per diem;
    4. A member of the Classification Roster that is appointed as chair of a classification panel shall be compensated at the rate of $716 per diem when serving as chair of the classification panel; the member shall not be paid more than one per diem for any given day.
  3. In the event that any appointees are cross-appointed to more than one agency, the following restrictions apply:
    1. appointees who hold a full-time appointment are entitled to the remuneration associated with their full-time appointment only;
    2. appointees who hold more than one part-time appointment are entitled to the remuneration associated with each appointment, provided that only one per diem is paid in respect of a calendar day;
  4. Appointees shall be reimbursed for work-related expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the College of Trades Appointments Council and Classification Roster in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other Treasury Board/Management Board of Cabinet directives.
