Order in Council 419/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council has established the Ontario Internal Audit Committee by Order in Council 983/2019 made under section 6.1 of the Ministry of Government Services Act;

And whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council has provided for the remuneration of members of the Ontario Internal Audit Committee by Order in Council 984/2019, as amended;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 6.1 (2) of the Ministry of Government Services Act: Order in Council 984/2019 is hereby amended as follows:

1. Paragraph 3 is deleted and replaced with the following:
   The members of the Ontario Internal Audit Committee, other than any appointees that are also public servants, that serve as chairs of Sector Audit Committees shall each be paid remuneration of $600 per diem, up to a maximum of 26 days per year, such that the maximum payable to the member per year is $15,600.
2. Paragraph 4 is deleted and replaced with the following:
   The members of the Ontario Internal Audit Committee, other than any appointees that are also public servants, that serve as members of Sector Audit Committees but that do not serve as chairs of Sector Audit Committees shall each be paid remuneration of $400 per diem, up to a maximum of 22 days per year, such that the maximum payable to the member per year is $8,800.
3. Paragraphs 4.1 and 4.2 are hereby revoked.
