Order in Council 421/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. The portion of highway in the Geographic Township of Ewart, in the District of Kenora, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation and shown as Part 1 on Ministry Plan P-2498- 15, filed with the Record Service Unit, Northwest Region, Ministry of Transportation at Thunder Bay on the 25th day of August 2022, be designated as a controlled-access highway pursuant to section 36 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50 as amended; and
2. The designation as controlled-access highway by order in council O.C. 200/83 and registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Kenora as Instrument No. MISC. 573 (P-2498-9), be amended so as to cease to apply to that portion of the highway shown as Part 1 on Ministry Plan P-2498-15 filed as described above.
