Order in Council 524/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas under O.C. 590/2021 dated May 13, 2021, Barton Maves was appointed as a member of the Niagara Parks Commission for a period not exceeding three years effective May 13, 2021;

And whereas Mr. Maves is now to be designated as vice-chair of the Niagara Parks Commission;

And whereas Mr. Maves’ designation as vice-chair cannot outlast his appointment as a member;

Now therefore, pursuant to subsection 3 (2) of the Niagara Parks Act,

Barton Maves of Niagara Falls

be designated as vice-chair of the Niagara Parks Commission, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding the earlier of May 12, 2024 or the date of the revocation of O.C.590/2021, effective the later of January 31, 2022 or the date this Order in Council is made.
